Proudworks recently welcomed Eagle Scout candidate Xavier Moorman, who—with plenty of help from his parents—took on a project designed to make our outdoor space more welcoming and enjoyable for the individuals we serve.

Xavier’s project included replacing dead and declining plants along our back walkway and patio with new landscaping, as well as building a bocce court that will give clients another opportunity for recreation, social connection, and a little friendly competition outdoors.

Projects like this go beyond improving our grounds. They create spaces where clients can gather, participate, build relationships, and enjoy time together—while showing what can happen when members of our community choose to invest their time and talents in others.

A special thank you to Maddox Garden Center & Landscape and Carter Lumber for generously donating the materials needed to bring Xavier’s project to life, and to Xavier and his parents for the time, hard work, and care they put into every detail.

Thank you for leaving a lasting mark on Proudworks—and creating something our clients can enjoy for years to come! 💙
