Wyatt’s Story

Supported Employment
Northern Kentucky University

Wyatt Enzweiler attended Norse Project SEARCH during the 2021-22 school year. While evaluations had previously said Wyatt would not be able to hold a community job, he was driven and had a strong desire to work. He completed internships with Facilities Management Custodial, the Campus Recreation Center, and Chartwells Food Services. Wyatt spent the year learning employability skills and getting ready for a competitive job search. While there, Wyatt found his love for cleaning and the tasks he completed in Facilities Management. Upon graduation, both Wyatt and the department expressed interest in continuing their partnership. Wyatt was hired on by the department and has been a cornerstone of Facilities Management ever since. He uses the skills he learned during his Project SEARCH year to maintain his high performance level and be the best employee possible. Outside of work, Wyatt is involved with Special Olympics swimming. He has expressed to staff that he would like to retire when he turns forty and become a bodybuilder.
