Jim has always been one of our most enthusiastic and energetic participants.  Jim began in programming in 1988.  He worked on the Production floor in our Community Rehabilitation Services Program for decades.  Jim loved to work on jobs and was always attentive to his task and produced at a high level.  Jim developed many social relationships over the years and he considers his Proudworks friends and staff as family.  As Jim has gotten older and his needs have changed, he decided to transition into our Life Transitions program a couple of years ago.  Jim  thoroughly enjoys the social, leisure, and recreational activities provided in the program.  He is still as excited as ever when he arrives each morning and greets the Life Transitions staff with a boisterous hello and hug.  Jim also enjoys performing Karaoke.  His personal favorite is “Living on a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.  Jim has a unique singing style with an emphasis on volume.  Jim also likes to celebrate people’s birthdays by singing to them in this same manner.  Being serenaded by Jim on your birthday has become a Proudworks tradition.
